Mount Kenya Climb- Ascend Naro-Moru-Descend Sirimon Route

These treks are non-technical and no mountain experience is necessary you only
need the assistance from the guides, but you should be fit and hardy. The chef will ensure

you are well fed and comfortable, and do their absolute utmost
to get you wisely to the summit point Lenana (4958m). Combine the mountain with full Adventures,

game viewing as you go up the mountain will be the most memorable experience

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi-Naro-Moru Met Station camp (3050m)

Depart early in the morning Nairobi driving though Nairobi-Thika super highway,
viewing of pineapple plantations tea farms coffee plantations all the way to Naro Moru.
Drive toward the mountain base Naro Moru gate quick lunch and prepare you language, This is one of the most popular and fastest route to get to the peak (summit) You begin to hike through dense forest with probability to see large heard of African cape buffaloes bushbucks white and black colobus monkey up to Met station hut for you night stay (3050m) Take a 4- hours 30 minuites  10 km-400m  ascent walk to the met station hut for dinner and overnight meal plan lunch and dinner

Day 2: Met Station-Mackinder’s camp (4300m) 5-6 Hours 11 Km  1,200m ascent

After Breakfast  a short walk to the end of the forest line across the marshy vertical bog of the lower moorlands. You will stop for picnic lunch and rest for sometimes continues the sharp trek gaining 1300m in altitude in about 5-6 hours.

This area has spectacular view of Teleki valley beneath the Tryndall,The Lewis Glacier.

Day 3: Mackinder camp Pt Lenana (Summit 4958m)-Old Moses camp
The D-Day ready for the early morning Wakeup call at 2:30 AM start of acclimatization trek which normally take 3 hours this section is rocky and frozen scree at times, get to the summit  point Lenana (4958m)at around 6 AM with beautiful view of  magical African sunrise. Photo session to make memories later descent  to shiptons camp for breakfast relax and continue descend down for about 5 hours to old Moses camp arrive for lunch, afternoon relax dinner and overnight. Day 4 Old Moses (3300m)-Nairobi
Morning breakfast 4-5 hours descend through beautiful forest with East African pencil cedar trees to Sirimon gate having successfully summited Mount Kenya

Transfer to back to Nairobi arriving in Nairobi evening hours meal plan Breakfast
